These tutorials do not focus on how we perform "this or that" calculation with Mathematica, but rather on how Mathematica interprets our expressions, what it understands, and how it works. As a result the first tutorial, Introduction to Mathematica, is also of interest to anybody that already knows how to use Mathematica.

Attendants are requested to bring their own laptop & charger and have Wolfram Mathematica 10 installed. Instructions about acquiring a Wolfram Mathematica license and installing, as a UvA student or a UvA staff member, can be found via the following links:
