Light-matter interactions in semiconductor nanostructures
Elinore de Jong presents research on the light-matter interactions in several low-dimensional semiconductor structures. She carries out an elaborate study of the spectral and temporal characteristics or recombination and relaxation processes of excited carriers in nanostructures of Si, GaN and perovskites to gain insights into the properties of these materials with the aim of developing more efficient optoelectronic devices.
